Meet our amazing Pre-school team who work hard to make sure that the curriculum and environment is child centered at all times. All members of staff hold Pediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates
Summer is our Manager, Designated Safeguarding Lead and Special Educational Needs Coordinator. She ensures every child feels safe, supported, and included, working closely with families and professionals to provide the right help at the right time.
Summer holds a Level 5 qualification in Early Years Practice and brings over 11 years of hands-on experience in early childhood education.
She is passionate about creating nurturing, engaging environments where children can thrive. A strong advocate for outdoor learning, Summer believes in the power of nature to inspire curiosity, confidence, and creativity in young minds.
Outside of work, Summer is a busy mum to three boys. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring the outdoors, and making memories together.
Jane supports the daily running of the setting and leads on health and safety. She carries out regular checks, helps maintain a safe environment, and ensures all staff follow best practice to keep everyone safe.
Jane holds a Level 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development.
Jane has worked in pre-school since 2005 and has seen many changes occur in that time, she loves her job. Getting creative and baking are her secret talents!
Jane has two grown up sons and two wonderful dogs! She especially enjoys travelling and exploring different destinations with her youngest son with New York being their favourite.
Jane enjoys socialising with friends, reading books and is a self proclaimed Strictly Come Dancing super fan! She also loves cheering on and supporting her beloved Leeds United!
Phil is a qualified Level 2 Early Years Practitioner and our Sustainability Champion. He places a huge focus on recycling, reusing and refusing waste where possible.
Phil leads on helping the children understand how to look after our planet — from sorting materials, composting and caring for our garden, to growing fruit and vegetables and exploring how small everyday actions can make a big difference.
Outside of work, Phil enjoys camping in the Lake District and walking the Pembrokeshire coastal paths with his family during the summer. He also loves watching movies, especially superhero films!
