We want our children to have the best possible start to their learning journey whilst at Hemingbrough Pre-school. Our aim is to make sure that learning is fun! We provide opportunities for children to develop their creative, inquisitive sides along with their sense of self as they play and learn.
We understand the importance of a play-based curriculum as it allows children to express their own individuality and develop in the best way. This is done through planning not only for the curriculum but by providing an enriching environment too. Our provision both indoor and outdoors is carefully considers the requirements to allow children to reach their full potential.
There are 7 areas of learning as part of the Statutory Framework. There are 3 Prime areas of learning and 4 specific areas. The prime areas are Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language and Physical Development.
