The school is open 9am - 3pm Monday to Friday during term time only. 

We accept government funded hours.

Pre-School Uniform

 At Hemingbrough pre-school, we know that children learn best through hands-on play. This means they will often be exploring with paint, mud, water, sand, glue, and outdoor activities. Clothes may get messy – and that’s a positive sign of learning, creativity, and fun!


We kindly ask that children come dressed in comfortable, practical clothes that are suitable for messy play. Please save their best outfits for special occasions.


If you prefer, we have a pre-school uniform available to purchase – this is entirely optional and not compulsory. For more details and ordering information, please follow this link:

Stage (EYFS) statutory framework, which includes new guidance around food and drink provided in early years settings. 

This guidance will come into effect from September 2025 and is designed to help promote healthy eating habits and support

children’s overall well-being.
